Mother's Day Handprint Cards

The kids and I went to town this morning to get flowers for the grandma's for mother's day. Very unoriginal but I've always gotten my mom and grandma flowers for mother's day. They picked out gerber daisy...my favorite!

To go along with the flowers, we made simple cards. They made flower bouquets using their handprints and painted stems and leaves. Then I simply wrote Happy Mother's Day across the top. I may do a little more decoration with the letters across the top but the little man was getting fussy.

I hope all mother's have a wonderful Mother's Day weekend!

Blessings,
Lisa

p.s. I think I might make one for myself every year to records my kids as they grow for my scrapbook.

I think I might just start making some to record our kids' handprints, too. :)

    Thanks for sharing!

  2. What a great idea! I'm going to dig out some card stock and waterpaints and get started. I also would like to make one for me ;)
